When habits slip off the calendar
The habits my day rests on, such as sleep, medication and meals, are the first things to go when a week gets busy.
What I built
Each habit lives in a plain file. An AI agent checks my calendar against those files on a schedule. It books the time that is missing and tells me about anything it cannot fix. Once a month it writes a short summary of how each habit went.
Why build it, when apps exist?
- It is convenient. It works in the calendar I already use, so the habits sit next to everything else.
- It removes friction. I do not tick boxes every day. The agent does the checking for me.
- It was quick to get done, because the habits are plain files that I can edit in a minute.
- It fits my way of working. The feedback comes once a month, when I can act on it.
